Covid-19 Statement

As a small business, the lockdown is a hard time for us but the safety of our customers and staff is our main concern. We are therefore remaining open at this time, with precautions taken in order to still serve our customers while paying attention to not spread coronavirus (covid-19).

We have put extra measures in place to ensure your safety while packing, and the official government statement is that coronavirus cannot survive on cardboard packaging.

Hygiene has always been a priority for us, so hand washing and glove-wearing procedures are at their usual high standards. Extra staff training has been carried out, with the addition of compliant masks and alcohol hand rubs. Therefore, at Vegums, we are following carefully all the Covid-19 secure guidance provided by the government.

We are working from home where possible with one member of staff in the warehouse at a time. This is the best we can do for social distancing whilst staying open and means that no staff members come into contact with each other (or anyone else!). We hope you are self-isolating where possible, and looking after yourselves and each other as best you can.
